Monday Monday

Well, I spent most of my weekend sitting on my butt, watching movies, because of the 3 feet of snow that was dumped on the state. Then I hear some sort of non-sense that we are supposed to get another big snowstorm possibly at the end of the week. What is that f@*kery?!

It is now cold, raining, foggy, and just plain YUCK. I should also mention that people don't know how to drive around here...add in 8-10ff and beyond piles of snow on each corner, and people REALLY have issues. Best to stay off the road at this point.

I did something pretty awesome and scary today. I did something that I hope works out to be really good and positive and sets me up for awesome things in my future.

I signed up for a wedding and event planning course.

Woohoo.

I have always dreamed of planning parties and events. I always had fun with it on a personal level, but never realized until way after my two stints in college, that jobs actually existed planning events.

I don't know if it will ever be my main source of income, but I do hope that I can at least do it part time.

The course is 6 units long, including a virtual internship. I don't want to reveal the school quite yet until I have taken some of the classes. It is online/home study, but completely accredited. I can pace as fast or as slow as I would like.

I am so excited. I will keep you all updated on my progress and how things are going with it.

How was everyone's weekends?

Remember if  you want to swap ads and sponsor me- let me know! :)
