Fun Facts

When I saw Whitney was doing a link-up of fun facts, well, I couldn't help participating because I am girl who has some random fun facts that you all might giggle a little when you hear! -I can't listen to a song on my iPod if it is the middle, I must always restart listening to a song at the beginning. -When I lived in NYC, I once fell in the middle of Broadway while crossing the street. Can you say "mortified"? -My Uncle taught me to swallow pills by swallowing whole M&Ms.  -I went to the MTV VMAs once and witnessed the infamous Madonna/Christina/Britney kiss in person. -During my senior year at high school, my high school choir performed a song that my brother and I wrote about 9/11, with my bro and I soloing. -That same year, I was chosen by the music department to showcase and perform another one of my songs for a cultural awareness concert we were having. (Sadly I have completely forgotten the song!) -I flew to/from France by myself in 2006, without speaking a a lick of French. (Thankfully my cousin met me at the airport...but I still had to navigate to the entrance...and call her using a french payphone...yeah that was interesting) -I can't put sugar in my hot coffee. But I can't have iced coffee without sugar. -I can write in a straight line without any lined paper and am constantly complimented on my impeccable penmanship. -My alcoholic beverage of choice is gin and tonic. or anything with rum. or beer if I am taking it easy. or anything champagne. Just not vodka. I don't like vodka at all. -I picked up the guitar when I was 13, which technically means I have been playing for 15 years. Except I play like I have been playing for 6 months (it's called "needing to practice") -I once owned my own collection of musical instruments: flute, ukelele, 2 guitars, keyboard, bass guitar, organ, and recording equipment.
-I have played many sports and quit every single one. Dance, basketball, figure skating (which I competed in!), swimming, cheerleading, baseball, softball...
